Back in the day we had pen pals. It was a friendship you desired to make, learn about someone else’s life, find similarities, learn something new, all knowing you may never meet.

Right? My husband and I dated long distance (he was in Japan, I was in Hawaii) for two years while I was finishing college. We wrote snail mail letters. As one did back in the 1900s.

You have perfectly described my experience with fb. I wouldn't even use it except, as you said, sometimes I need to connect with folks who are only on there. 😐 I'm all in for anything you are putting together for the blanketfort! 🎪 Keep us posted! ❣️☕

I have so many beloveds there, and that is where Sweatpants & Coffee was born, so I'll always be around. These days, I'm just very intentional about social media, which I enjoy very much. And yay! Blanketfort!

I found the best way to make new friends is to volunteer. I am a Red Cross volunteer and I now have some of the most amazing friends.
